General Donations

Gifts from the community allow us to fulfill our mission of delivering new and exciting programs to the community while expanding the programs we currently offer. A gift can be made to a specific program (such as Respite, ACC Nursing Home, ACC Rides, or Classes), or to the Asian Community Center in general.

Our donation form (available in PDF) can assist you in making a donation. Please mail the donation form, along with your check or credit card information, to the Asian Community Center. Your gifts are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law. Asian Community Center is a 501(c)3 tax exempt organization.

Gifts in Honor/Memory

A gift to the Asian Community Center is a great way to celebrate a special occasion or to memorialize the life of someone close.

When making a gift in honor or in memory, we will be glad to send an acknowlegement to the appropriate party and include the gift information in the ACC newsletter. To assist us in preparing the acknowlegement, please print the following information and send along with your gift:

Gifts of Stock

If you are interested in making a gift of stock, please contact Brenda Page at (916) 394-6399 ext. 124 or by e-mail.

Visionary Gifts

Please consider a charitable bequest to the Asian Community Center of Sacramento Valley (ACC). Charitable bequests provide much needed funds to operate the ACC Nursing Home, ACC Greenhaven Terrace, ACC Rides Transportation Program, ACC Respite, and ACC Programs and Classes.

You will not need to rewrite your will or living trust if you decide to make a charitable bequest to ACC. You could simply add an amendment, called a codicil, to your will or living trust. Here is some language you can have your attorney review:

“I give and bequeath the Asian Community Center of Sacramento Valley, Inc., tax identification number 94-2271380, located in Sacramento, CA, $  (desired gift amount)  ” (or state a percentage of your estate, or describe real or personal property, including exact location.)

Your bequest is entirely under your control during life and becomes irrevocable only at death. Please consider making an everlasting commitment to elderly in our community and include the Asian Community Center in your will or living trust today.

e-Commerce

Looking for a gift that is unique and aesthetically beautiful? ACC has launched its first ever online auction. The e-Commerce project is designed to help ACC raise funds by converting in-kind donations into cash. The proceeds go to support the programs and services at ACC Nursing Home, ACC Park City, and ACC Greenhaven Terrace. Click here to begin bidding on our eBay auction items!

How does it work?

eBay buyers can help contribute by purchasing items from the ACC eBay auction. eBay sellers can designate a percentage of their final sale to their favorite non-profit organization, like ACC! Morever, PayPal account holders can donate online without having to sell or buy anything. Click on eBay Giving Works to start now.

ACC sells a wide variety of merchandise including, but not limited to, handmade acrylic bowls, beautiful Japanese dolls in kimonos, and delicately hand painted tea sets.

If you would like to make a donation, volunteer for the e-Commerce project, or want more information, please contact Christa Ogata at (916) 394-6399 ext. 121 or by e-mail at christa@accsv.org.
