The Welcome Center

The Welcome Center is staffed daily by the Welcome Center Team, a group of volunteers dedicated to serving our community by welcoming visitors, answering and directing phone calls, providing points of contact to resources within the community, offering fun and enjoyable activities for seniors, and providing a warm and welcoming social setting.

The Welcome Center provides a free beverage service consisting of coffee and hot tea to our volunteers, clients and visitors daily from 9:30 am to 4:30 pm. We also provide fun activities throughout the week. You can enjoy some fun with your friends, learn how to play Mahjong or learn to knit. We have puzzles, board games, card making workshops, shibori (Japanese dyeing) and more. The Welcome Center Team is in the process of developing and adding new and fun activities so be on the lookout for them.
