The Largest Fundraiser of the Year

Big Day of Giving is a 24-hour community-wide fundraising event that brings people together to support local nonprofits across the Sacramento region. Organized by the Sacramento Region Community Foundation, this day of generosity strengthens the organizations that make our community a better place to live for everyone.

For ACC Senior Services, Big Day of Giving is our most important fundraising event of the year. The support we receive during this one special day helps ensure that older adults in our community can continue to access vital programs and services that promote independence, connection, and quality of life.

Your generosity helps sustain programs that touch lives every day—from volunteers and participants in our ACC Rides and Senior Escort Program, to residents who call ACC’s Residential Living communities home.

Gifts raised during Big Day of Giving help us keep our Home and Community-Based services affordable and accessible, allowing many seniors to participate at little or no cost.

Because of donors like you, every day we’re able to offer vital programs that help seniors live independently, stay active, and feel connected in a supportive environment. But like many nonprofits, we’re still navigating the lingering effects of the COVID crisis and ongoing economic challenges.

We hope you’ll consider making a gift to support:

  • Expanding our health and wellness programs for seniors
  • Providing essential resources for caregivers
  • Helping older adults age safely and confidently in their own homes

Every gift matters. Whether you choose to give $50, $500, $5000, or more, your contribution directly supports older adults and families across our region. Together, we can continue building a community where seniors feel valued, supported, and connected.

Join us for Big Day of Giving 2026 and help ACC Senior Services continue making a meaningful difference in the lives of Sacramento’s seniors. Your generosity today helps create a stronger, more caring community for tomorrow.
