ACC Care Center Skilled Nursing

Having a well-informed nursing workforce that is highly skilled, educated and competent has been the impetus to the quality of care we are known for in addition to robust policies and procedures that ensure our residents’ welfare is a priority.

ACC staff is trained to report on any subtle change in a resident’s health condition or behavior that would indicate a more serious problem like sepsis. Dr. Scott Stringer has introduced several diagnostic tools like ultrasound, EKG, BiPAP, end tidal and point-of-care blood analysis machine to provide accurate and timely diagnosis of disease. The result is better outcomes for our residents, low hospitalization rates, and better satisfaction rates.

ACC has ongoing staff training programs which are aimed at enhancing our residents’ quality of care through use of evidence-based practices. Our social and support services work extensively with families to help them make the best decisions for their loved ones.

The hallmark of ACC skilled nursing is that we provide care that is resident centered, family oriented and culturally sensitive. This extends to nutrition and our residents dining experience, life enriching activities and a diverse workforce that is able to communicate with residents in their native language. Our goal is to be the preferred provider for our residents and families as we assist them through hardships and transitions.
